Lifetime LifeStraw
Replenish and Vestergaard Nairobi have partnered to provide the Lifetime Lifestraw. This ongoing project will include the base LifeStraw Community filter as well as all replacement parts as needed for assuring there is no lapse of available clean water once the filter has reached its 100,000 liter filtering capacity in 3-5 years. This program is twofold: in addition to churches and clinics, we are providing support for the 192 schools and the 463 purifiers currently in the schools as well as provide additional new purifiers as needed to match the enrollment needs at each school.
Adopt a School
Replenish and Vestergaard-LifeStraw have launched a campaign to provide additional Lifetime LifeStraws to match the enrollment needs of the schools. With a goal of 1 purifier per 100 children, the Ministry of Education in partnership with the LifeStraw Team develop a priority list of schools needing additional support. We have met the goal of 16 schools receiving 44 LifeStraws. With a long term goal of 269 additional LifeStraw filters needed at the schools, the LifeStraw team members are developing a goal for 2024.
