H2Outreach Project:
The H2Outreach Project was initially developed to address the issue of closed schools during the COVID 19 Pandemic for most of 2020 and for portions of 2021. Without the schools open, students and their families did not have access to the LifeStraws in each school and therefore did not have access to clean water. H2Outreach Project was initiated to meet the needs of the community with a plan to expanded our outreach in the Homa Bay and Nairobi areas from primarily schools to also include clinics and churches. Vestergaard, the makers of LifeStraw, and community leaders developed priority lists of churches and clinics to be a part of the first phase of this project. With the generous support Replenish received during this pandemic, the initial phase of our expansion effort was fully funded and all facilities on the priority lists received the gift of clean water through the provision of LifeStraws. These filters were distributed to regions outside of Nairobi as well as Kisumu, and Homa Bay.
To date, our H2Outreach Project has provided clean water access to 17 clinics and 67 churches. This project will be ongoing as we continue to expand our efforts throughout the regions and continue to monitor the needs of the clinics and churches who have received our support. Please join us so that together so that we can continue to impact the communities by meeting he needs of additional clinics and churches in the Homa Bay and Nairobi area.
