Upcoming Campaign: Water & the Word (February, 2016)
Replenish is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specifically created to provide clean water resources to developing countries. Our purpose through the Water & the Word Campaign is to give others the opportunity to be a part of our mission to specifically provide clean water to remote villages in Lake Victoria and areas surrounding Homa Bay, Kenya. This outreach is in partnership with The Seed Company providing Bible translations in native Suba language with clean water filters.
As our mission includes a long-term commitment to specific communities, we are following up our successful campaigns in October, 2014, June, 2015, and November, 2015 with our Strategic Partners – Rotary (Water Projects) and Vestergaard (LifeStraw). Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the Clean Water Initiative to date has provided clean water for 3-5 years by providing 207 LifeStraw Community filters and training for 126 schools and a Children’s Home.
The goal of the Water & the WordCampaign is to continue providing Community LifeStraws to villages/schools from lists generated from in-country support. For this Campaign, we are seeking support for 20 Community Lifestraws units at $340 each, or $7,800.
